Many people don't realise that most travel insurance policies don't cover preventable diseases or have a clause that says you must take reasonable care while travelling. Best to check your vaccination status before you go on holiday and get an insurance policy that will cover you. This is particularly relevant for young adults whose parents made the choice not to vaccinate them as children, which they might be unaware of. You want to come home from your trip away with nice photos not a giant bill for a hospital admission for encephalitis 💸
