Physical Therapy is a phenomenal profession. To the PTs with a negative attitude in the Facebook PT chat rooms, the grass is not greener. Much prefer the interactions on LinkedIn. Far more positive. #physicaltherapy #physiotherapy #healthcare #careercounseling

Shoulder joint pain can stem from various underlying causes, often involving the complex interaction of bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and other soft tissues. Physiotherapy for shoulder pain aims to reduce pain, improve mobility, restore strength, and enhance joint stability. This often involves: 1.Pain Management: Using modalities such as ice, heat, and ultrasound to alleviate pain and reduce inflammation. Manual Therapy: Techniques like joint mobilization and soft tissue manipulation to improve joint mechanics. 2.Strengthening Exercises: Targeting rotator cuff muscles and other surrounding muscles to improve stability and support. 3.Stretching: To maintain or regain flexibility and range of motion. 4.Posture and Movement Training: Educating patients on proper body mechanics to prevent further strain on the shoulder joint. 5.Functional Training: Simulating daily activities to help patients regain functional use of the shoulder.

Knee osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease that can cause pain, stiffness, and swelling in the knee joint. While there is no cure for this condition, there are several treatments available to manage its symptoms. One such treatment is strength training. Strength training involves using weights, resistance bands, or bodyweight exercises to build muscle strength and improve physical function. Research has shown that strength training can be beneficial for individuals with knee osteoarthritis. It can help reduce knee pain by improving muscle strength and endurance, which can support the knee joint and reduce stress on the joint. Stronger muscles can also help stabilize the knee joint and improve its alignment, which can further reduce pain. In addition to reducing pain, strength training can also improve mobility by improving the range of motion in the knee joint. This can allow individuals to move more easily and perform daily activities with less pain and discomfort. Moreover, strength training can increase physical function by improving an individual's ability to perform activities of daily living, such as walking, climbing stairs, and carrying groceries. It is important to note that if you are interested in incorporating strength training into your treatment plan for knee osteoarthritis, it is crucial to consult with a healthcare professional or a certified fitness professional. They can help you develop a safe and effective strength training program that is tailored to your specific needs and limitations. In conclusion, strength training can be a valuable tool for managing the symptoms of knee osteoarthritis, but it is essential to work with a healthcare or fitness professional to develop a personalized strength training program.

Before I realize how therapy is SO important and crucial for athletes, every time I see they get injured, I am wondering-- Will they get back to the performance they used to be? Will that destroy his or her athletic career? I am just feeling so pitiful or frightened for them. Recently, I get in touch with some therapy device. I used to not know too much about these things because around me there are few athletes. And I am shocked by how beneficial it is that some massage device and therapy massager can help athletes perform better and better in daily time. Maybe that’s the magic of technology and human intelligence. But it’s still always heart-beating and thrilling for me to watch sports games online or offline. I couldn’t help myself but to close or cover my eyes whenever there might be a bit dangerous for some athletes to perform themselves in a competition.(such as gymnastics, high jump, short track speed skating, etc.) Don’t know you guys having such feelings? #fitness #therapy #sports #recovery #physicaltherapy
