5 strategies for growth #outperformance in #InsideSales. Inside sales is tough and inside sales is not for everyone - but inside sales can produce outstanding results and outperform field sales if it is managed the right way. Here are our 5 insights to unlock your organizations full potential: 1. The right #commission system The right mix of incentives is key to motivation and the basis for a performance culture. Do not pay inside sales reps less than field sales reps and never implement a capped bonus model or small percentages of variabel compensation. 2. Running on high #activity It is in the nature of man to reduce his activity over time - so if you do not have an activity management in place you will constantly underperform. 3. Who to #hire? One way to build a strong team is to create a career development plan so that inside sales reps see the job as a springboard for their career. With the right commission system e.g. outstanding graduates from university should be able to earn more than at #McKinsey in the first year and so your recruiting pipeline will always be full. 4. Fully #remote? Many inside sales teams work mainly remote - but if you got everybody - as often as possible - on site in one room then magic often happens: people exchange best practices and motivate each other. 5. #Training How often do you train your sales team? Training is only useful if it happens regularly, it is an investment in your closing ratio. On Fridays after 4 pm there is not much going on in most sales offices, that is the optimum time for a great training.

Account Management is for hunters who have burned out 🤔🤔🤔 The topic of conversation with a potential client was yesterday. They want hunters, people who have the passion and drive to win new logos and create amazing new business pipelines 💰💰💰 They don't want salespeople who are looking to come in for a target or 2 then become an AM and deal with their already happy clients. Account Management in their opinion is easy, the product is working, the data is most of the time there to back utilization and the renewal rate is strong. Is the next step after a career in NB moving into an AM role if you want to stay an individual contributor in sales?
