🌊 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐔𝐇𝐑𝐒 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚? Ultra-High Resolution Seismic (UHRS) surveys have become a standard in Offshore Wind Farm development. UHRS data often has a high-frequency range of 2000 to 10000 Hz, significantly higher than conventional seismic frequencies of 125 to 250 Hz. The primary objective of acquiring UHRS data is to achieve seismic image resolutions of less than 1 meter, which is crucial for effective wind farm development. To achieve such detailed resolution requires meticulous processing of UHRS data. One critical processing step is de-ghosting, which attenuates ghost reflections caused by downward reflections from the sea surface. This processing step has a significant impact on the final seismic image resolution. The improvements in image resolution post de-ghosting are substantial, as demonstrated in this comparison. Today, the Norwegian Ministry announced the APA 2024 licensing round on the Norwegian continental shelf. APA 2024 will increase the available acreage with 37 new blocks added under the APA area. This expansion presents a significant opportunity for companies to expand their operations and contribute to the region's energy security. TGS continues to support successful exploration offshore Norway with an extensive portfolio of seismic data, including modern 3D towed-streamer and cutting-edge Ocean Bottom Node seismic data to provide the greatest subsurface insight. 🌐 Announcing a Significant Milestone in Subsea Environmental Monitoring   We are delighted to share the successful installation of the SMART Wet Demonstration prototype, a joint endeavor by Güralp Systems Ltd and INGV. This achievement marks a major milestone for the SMART Subsea Cable Initiative.   🌏 The InSEA Wet Demo cable was installed last month and is currently operational delivering high quality data. Inside the three in-line repeater pressure cases is advanced seismic monitoring technology, including force feedback accelerometers and seismometers.
