I had a package that was scheduled to be delivered to my house on a Saturday. It was sent with signature required so I had someone stay at my house all day. My UPS app told me it would be delivered by the end of the day. It wasn’t. It was not delivered Monday. Tuesday, I had to leave town for a few days and that’s when the decided to deliver it. I realized I would not be home before the 3rd failed attempt. So I asked to have it sent to a pickup location. The only way I could do that was to pay a fee. Otherwise, UPS would have returned my package to the sender. When I picked up my package at a UPS store and tried to lodge my complaint, I was informed that this was an independent franchise and had no mechanism to manage complaints. My only recourse was the 800 number. When I called the 800 number after recounting the events, I was told that there was no way to refund the fee I paid since I had requested to send it to a pickup location. They refused to issue a refund Summary: UPS failed to provide promised service. They charged me to correct their mistake. They will not refund me the fee. I have no control over whom you use to send packages, but I certainly will never use UPS. Absolutely horrible customer service.
I had the privilege to work 2 Christmas Holiday seasons during college as a helper on a UPS delivery truck in Columbus, Ohio. Long hours and hard work. Loved wearing the brown jumpsuit and left with great respect for the drivers I worked with. As a side note…my favorite line from customers with a dog…”don’t worry.. my dog does not bite”. It must have been the brown jumpsuit!
Best of luck hi
What can brown do for you?
UPS-Drivers in the States look cooler than the average Wannabe-Rappers in Germany!🤠
I'd love to work here
