Clocking out for the last time at UMass Dartmouth's Admissions office... ⏰ It's been a wild ride of spreadsheets, endless student queries, traveling for school events, and hundreds of coffee breaks! Bidding farewell to a fantastic crew. But hey, the outside world is calling, and I'm ready to swap my 'How can I assist you?' for 'What's next on the horizon?' My lessons from the front lines of Admissions: - Asking for Help is sometimes Cooler Than Googling: Seriously, there's no shame in it. Plus, it's a great excuse to chat with coworkers about something other than the weather. 😎 - Extra Effort, the Secret Ingredient: Going the extra mile is never for nothing – it's like finding bonus fries at the bottom of the bag, and who doesn't like extra fries? 🍟 - Joy in finding Solutions: The joy in helping someone is unexpectedly self-uplifting. There were times I played detective and solved students' problems. Satisfaction level - MASTERMIND. 🎯 - Stay Sharp, Techwise: Why spend hours on data entry when a few clever automation scripts and ideas can do the trick? Here's to saving time! ⏳ It's tough to leave, but I'm off to the next chapter.
