At Meta, one of the ways we build equitable products across the communities we serve is through the investment of our Employee Resource Groups (ERG's). It is through these ERGs, like the Latin@ Erg (partially pictured below), where we create a two-way partnership with company C-suite leads <> and the underrepresented community in an effort to influence equity throughout the company and into the products we are building. Meta recently hosted a regional summit for all ERG leads across the company. This provided all leads the opportunity to create connections, x-pollinate roadmaps, identify areas of collaboration, prioritize initiatives mapped to company priorities, and spend time learning from some of our C-Suite leads. Second, it served as a moment to celebrate ERG leads who have excelled in areas of leadership, innovation and impact (: Coming out of this Summit, I'm keen to continue my Latin@ leadership contributions to hit the goals we have to increase #Metaverse and new product engagement, within our Latin@ community, so we can continue to build diverse and representative products prior to GTM. It's an exciting time to be a #latinaintech

We did some awesome work with some awesome people that recently got written up in an awesome publication 🤘 I've gotta be honest - when we started The Design Gym 13-years ago, I never thought we'd be working so much with sales teams... But here's a few reasons why we love it and why it's been one of our largest areas of growth in the past 5+ years... 🚀 It's a mission critical part of any business - if you want to drive organizational change, start with the most critical components. 🚀 It's a team that requires highly effective collaboration - but outdated 'always be closing' sales cultures generally promote the opposite. 🚀 The macro-environment is creating lots of complexity which is making sales more dependent on practices like deep listening, co-creation, and consultative leadership. These practices are common in product and HR teams, but not-so-much in the sales world. (TL:DR - there's tons of low hanging fruit) 🚀 Sales teams are implicitly human-centered AND business driven. Communication is direct and outcomes are measurable. Environments like that promote rapid experiementation, quick feedback cycles, and data driven decision making, which is perfect for our approach. Check out the article, and if you're curious about our work with enterprise sales, sales enablement, go-to-market, or partnership teams - let's connect! #sales #enterprisesales #cocreation Developing Leaders Quarterly Meta
Creating lasting impact takes a village, and this program is a testament to that. Kicking off in 2018 The Design Gym went on a multi year journey with Meta to reimagine how sales could be done throughout Latin America. The inspiring leaders at Meta driving this charge Agustin Couto and Santiago Palacio worked tirelessly to create a sales culture built on customer centricity, co-creation with clients, and true, strategic partnership. Six years after starting this work we all finally sat down to document it. We’re grateful to Developing Leaders Quarterly for giving us the platform to tell this story, Roddy Millar and Roland Deiser were incredible partners. And to our current and former team members, across New York City and Sao Paulo, who conceived of this idea, brought it to life, and helped tell this story; Kelsye Gould, Gian Taralli, Jason Cha, Laura Dusi, Laura Lemos, and Bruno Gonçalves what a journey it’s been. And for the hundreds of incredible internal partners at Meta that brought this to life, and the courageous brand leaders that were open to a new way of collaboration, a very heartfelt thank you. Very few things are cooler than when clients, and collaborators become dear friends. This is one of those programs that will stick with me for years to come. #sales #consultativeselling #InnovationHacking https://lnkd.in/eEKPhfPm

Kelsye Gould shares her **Top 3 Learnings** from developing and scaling a consultative sales program at Facebook (now Meta): 1. PLAY TO YOUR STRENGTHS. What can you uniquely offer your customers? What do they admire in you? Hint: This might not always be the thing you're selling! For Facebook, clients were eager to learn from their culture of innovation. 2. MEET YOUR CUSTOMERS WHERE THEY'RE AT. Our program asked Facebook teams to empathize with their customer's challenges, which often had nothing to do with media solutions. In doing so, however, the team opened the door to more strategic conversations with their customers. 3. INCLUDE DIVERSE PERSPECTIVES from both your customer's organization and your own. Inviting a variety of voices leads to broader and stronger ideas and also fosters buy-in and alignment across the various stakeholders. In 2018 The Design Gym created a fast track to innovation approach for Facebook to take collaboration with their clients to a whole different level. This last week Developing Leaders Quarterly published this story that deserves to be shared here. I'm proud and happy to have been part of this great innovation program. Thanks Jason Wisdom, Kelsye Gould and Gian Taralli for inviting me to be part of the team together with Laura Lemos and Bruno Gonçalves. From a facilitator's perspective, one thing that made this program exciting was that the TDG team achieved a bold negotiation task that is to get all the decision makers from the participant businesses in the same room for a full day (!) –This means C levels and heads of departments, all with different expertise. These are profiles that come in with a high level of expectations for results and will with no doubt question the expertise of people conducting the activities. Difficult dynamics will invariably appear, as well as parallel conversations (around other business urgencies). All this to say that this program really put many of my skills to test and that it was a memorable experience because of it. Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/d-eAfqhS

This is really good insight with an array of money quotes, but the idea that you can leverage the respect and trust of your clients to open new pathways for innovation (and ultimately new business) may be one of the most important here. #CreativeStrategy

His insights demonstrated how this approach enhanced retention and resolved declined payments, resulting in a fivefold increase in retention and saving over $1M+ annually. 📈 🚀 - Insightful speaker sessions: Key topics included an AI-first strategy and how AI can transform our work by enhancing human connection rather than replacing it. Meta CMO Global Automotive Summit was a blast! My main takeaway from a 2 day full immersion with brilliant minds from Meta and worldwide automotive marketing leaders can be resumed in one of the Meta's motto: "Live in the Future". That is definitely what people in MPK do every day - and what we in the Old Europe do....some days a year. Needless to say, staying struck in your daily routine won't bring you anywhere. It's not just about the routine, it's also how you approach technology: living in the future means being conscious that the technology you're using today is already old, that your focus is 100% on the next product you're going to build, and 0% on what you just shipped. A heartfelt thank you to Federica Rovelli for the warm hospitality and to all the brilliant minds I met—both from Meta and the automotive sector. Your insights were not only enlightening but also a reminder of the power of collaboration and forward-thinking in shaping the future.

📉 Trade Recap: Seizing Opportunity with Short Position on META 🚀 Today's trade on META showcased a strategic approach to capitalize on weakness observed in the market dynamics. Strategy: ORB 15 (Opening Range Breakout 15) Entry: Noted weakness as the initial 15-minute candle closed below VWAP. Patiently awaited a 1-minute retracement toward VWAP with low volume, seizing the opportunity to enter a short position on rejection. Exit: Initiated the first partial profit at approximately 3R, continuing to take partial profits as the price trended downwards. Holding the remainder of the position with stop at break-even for further downside potential, as the stock demonstrates significant weakness. Today's trade underscores the importance of disciplined execution and keen observation of market dynamics. 📈💼 #TradeRecap #ShortPosition #META #ORB15 #TradingStrategy
