Finally coming up for air following KACCL 2023, which was an incredibly special event again. Thanks to the generosity of the Kirklees and Calderdale business community we smashed last year's total and raised over £28,000 for our chosen charities this year; Project Youth Cancer and Project Challenge. The money raised will provide crucial support to teenagers and young adults facing cancer through Project Youth Cancer, and help empower disengaged 16-19-year-olds with educational opportunities through Project Challenge. KACCL has become a beacon of community spirit since we launched it in 2016 and this year's event brings the total funds raised to over £163,000 to help young people across our region. None of it would be possible without my fellow committee members Steve Crowther, Joanne Jones, Tracy Sheldon Dip IMC F IDM MIoEE, Shaun Guest, Nemi Alexis, Haroon R., John Williams, Steve Brighton, the Faith Brand Communications team and the local business community!
