Hello dear Member do you know about September Monkey Bar Hang Challenge ? 🐒 Location: Rival Gym Participants must hang from the monkey bars for as long as possible. This challenge tests grip strength, endurance, and determination. Rules: Hanging Technique: Use both hands to hang from the bar. No touching the ground or assisted hanging. Swinging and slight movement are allowed, but no feet or body bracing. Elimination: Once a participant drops, their time will be recorded, and they are out. Chalk is allowed. Categories & Time Goals: The longest hang time winner will receive a special edition Rival Gym T-shirt! All participants will go in one round. STOP Doing the ‘BASICS’🤐🤯 . Yes, this is coming from Llew Gibson! The guy that used to pump up his own ego throwing silly weights around on the squat, bench and deadlift. . I have a passion for these lifts, but starting with them is a mistake. . It’s like entering your first gymnast class and expecting to do a triple donkey summersault sky dive flip on the first day! You’ve gotta train your way and develop these skills over time🤷🏻♂️ . Utilise the machines your gym has to offer. . Get your body familiar with very similar movements, that will transfer beautifully when you first try to introduce instability via free weights. . Just because you're not ready to return to running after having a baby doesn't mean you can't work towards that goal! Here's what you can do: Single-leg calf raises Single-leg bridges Single-leg sit-to-stands Side-lying abductions Weakness in these areas shouldn't be seen as a barrier to running. Instead, use it to identify and strengthen weak areas, bringing you closer to your goal.
