According to WWF, only 3% of the world’s water is fresh water 🚰 , we need to protect our most crucial natural resource! 🔥   In R-evolution, we are helping the fresh water scarcity challenge by joining forces with Desolenator, who has come up with an innovative design delivering net-zero & zero-waste fresh water. We are helping them by bringing the digital twin of their plants, optimizing their operations even further!   We are also contributing to minimize water scarcity by fighting its key aggravator, climate change, this is done by: 1) Accelerating the green energy transition, investing in and boosting renewable energy plants with Hexagon and partner technology – with Google Cloud, rebase.energy, Ansasol and other partners. ⚡ ⚡ ⚡ 2) Leading the seagrass ecosystem conservation, responsible for a significant portion of the ocean carbon sequestration - with Beneath The Waves 🌊 🌊 🌊 3) Rain forest preservation, keeping carbon sinks intact via our recently launched green cubes initiative 🌳 🌴 🌲 We are honored to have been part of Desolenator's #WorldWaterDay panel, together with Nada Abubakr from Ricardo plc, Ross Brooks from Katapult Ocean, Louise Bleach from Desolenator and our CPO, Javier García-Norro Granja. Watershed resilience has been at the center of our work for decades and still we are learning, improving and innovating every day. This is why events such as the world water forum are meaningful. To share ideas and best practices, to raise new issues on the international agenda for water. Looking forward.
