The Union Cabinet has approved the BioE3 Policy - ‘Biotechnology for Economy, Environment, and Employment: Policy for Fostering High-Performance Biomanufacturing’. This policy is designed to support innovation-driven R&D and entrepreneurship across various thematic sectors, furthering India's commitments to a Net Zero carbon economy and promoting the 'Lifestyle for Environment' initiative. This initiative was discussed in a PM-STIAC meeting and represents a significant step towards addressing global challenges like climate change, unsustainable material consumption, excessive resource utilization, and waste generation through the use of live biological systems in biomanufacturing. The BioE3 Policy is set to drive India towards accelerated green growth by promoting a Circular Bioeconomy, emphasizing sustainability, innovation, and responsiveness to global challenges. It outlines a Bio-vision for a Viksit Bharat, focusing on sectors like high-value bio-based chemicals, biopolymers and enzymes, smart proteins and functional foods, precision biotherapeutics, climate-resilient agriculture, carbon capture and utilization, and marine and space research. In addition to prioritizing regenerative bioeconomy models, the policy aims to expand India's skilled workforce and create new job opportunities. By leveraging biomanufacturing for more sustainable, efficient, and tailored production processes, the BioE3 Policy will enhance sectors such as biotherapeutics, agri-biotech, biofuels, the chemical industry, alternative proteins, and futuristic marine and space research. Heartiest Congratulations @rajesh_gokhale and Team @DBTIndia @BIRAC_2012 .This is an important step forward in the Biotech growth trajectory .India has successfully demonstrated its capabilities to be positioned on the global map @PMOIndia @DrJitendraSingh @NITIAayog

It's great but, it's not possible to issue funds for every talented Graduates, what about remaining Graduates who holding Degree certificates. Thousands of students searching for jobs in biotechnology field seams not getting any, even though there is no valve for biotechnology. Because every one asking specifications like genetics, Microbiology...... Etc. All the specific subject are including in biotechnology, but why biotechnology not getting recognition in company's.

This is the future we’ve been waiting for. The BioE3 Policy isn’t just another policy, its a blueprint for a sustainable, innovative, and globally competitive Bharat. Proud to see India leading the charge against climate change with science, tech, and entrepreneurship. Let’s build a greener, stronger nation together. #BioE3 #ViksitBharat #InnovateForImpact"

I am grateful for the government's BioE3 policy. I believe the government should do more to promote employment in the field of biotechnology. There are plenty of unemployed folks. Please establish this department in all state colleges, central universities, /institutes. Please look into it.#UGC, #DBT, #MyGovIndia, #Narendramodi

Congratulations, it is a great initiative Being the automotive industry is a major player in the economy and environment, it is very important to minimize resources consumption and increase efficiency and capacity of vehicles. It is unfortunate that while a major energy change phase is taking place, the automotive industry continues with the most expensive, carry and move concept in vehicles. A simple pull and get pushed concept can save a huge volume of energy and drastically reduce the costs of vehicles.
