VETS, Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions, Inc’s Post

On August 9, 2024, the FDA issued a Complete Response Letter, denying approval for MDMA-assisted therapy as a treatment for PTSD. While we respect the FDA’s commitment to safety, the cost of inaction is staggering. Every day, roughly 20 veterans die by suicide—this is unacceptable. VETS remains steadfast in our efforts to: 💊Provide access to psychedelic-assisted therapies abroad. 🔬Conduct research to build an irrefutable case for these treatments. 📢Advocate tirelessly to make these innovative therapies available on U.S. soil. We are never out of the fight. Join us in our mission to end veteran suicide. Read the full statement and take action here: https://bit.ly/4fQsPu2

You know, we tried this with off-label cheap antivirals and covid/ long covid/ vax injury treatment. Sued the FDA. We won. The FDA is not really interested in helping people, unfortunately. Would love to talk with you guys about what my organization went through.😊

VETS, Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions, Inc - I am overwhelmingly concerned for the health and wellbeing of the men and women who were counting on this approval as a last resort and how it was considered and promoted as a shoe-in by well, we know who. To say mistakes were made, would be an understatement (not by you) - Shall I say, a mix of ego and disorganization was a contributing factor. We all know it. I saw it. /my opinions are my own.

VETS, Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions, Inc what a travesty that you have to “Probide access to psychedelic-asssited therapies ABROAD” in order to help those in need. Abroad. Let that sink in for a minute. Our Veteras (and First Responders) have to seek help abroad. That’s beyond messed up.

Standing strong and firmly behind you!!! It is absolutely ridiculous that American Veterans have to go to other countries to receive treatment. Let's all stay strong and committed to this important cause.
