We can confirm launch success for Space Norway's Arctic Satellite Broadband Mission (ASBM) from Vandenburg Space Force Base aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket! 🚀✅ The mission will see two satellites deployed in a highly elliptical orbit (HEO) in the world’s first HEO mission carrying a broadband commercial service payload. The GX10A and GX10B Ka-band payloads hosted on the satellites will be used to extend our high-speed global network with dedicated Arctic region coverage. Viasat's Head of Space Systems, Mark Dickinson, gave his thanks to Space Norway, Northrop Grumman, United States Space Force, and our expert colleagues, who’ll “now focus on bringing these payloads into service and creating the flexibility, coverage, and connectivity our customers need – wherever they operate.” For the full press release, head here: https://vsat.co/3yA3DqN #ASBM #HEO #SpaceNorway #SpaceX #SpaceForce #Arctic
