🔦 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭: 𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 & 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐬 Our Pulse AFC platform offers public transit operators and authorities a range of configurable fare rules. A new fare rule option called ‘Zone Traversal’ has just been added! In Check-In Check-Out systems, this fare rule uses topological data to calculate fares based on the zones a passenger passes through, rather than just their origin and destination zones. When this fare rule is enabled, authorities can create and apply one or more Zone Traversal fare caps to provide value to passengers who have used certain routes. These types of capping rules ensure that loyalty schemes are aligned with fare policy, and make sense to the passenger. 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞: Zone Traversal fare rules and fare caps can be used as an incentive for passengers to avoid congested routes during peak times, as an example. #ThinkLikeACustomer #SmartIdeas #FareCollection #PublicTransport

Simplifying access to an airport’s website can greatly amplify online customer engagement, even without transforming the #airportwebsite into a full-fledged eCommerce platform. Let me share a few insights: Memorability and Convenience Memorable, easy-to-type FlyXYZ.com domain names make it simple for passengers to visit the airport's website directly. This eliminates the need for passengers to search for long or complicated URLs, reducing frustration and making it far more likely they will visit the site frequently. Even without eCommerce functionality, passengers will engage more often with a website that’s convenient to access for: - Flight information: Quick updates on #arrivals, #departures, and #delays. - Airport services: Information about parking, lounges, and transportation options. - Terminal maps: Helping passengers navigate the airport. - Security and travel updates: Easier access to TSA guidelines, and customs procedures. #Airports #AirportBusiness #FlyLocal #AirportMarketing e.g. FlySRQ.com (Official) #FlySRQ Sarasota Bradenton International

Intuitive baggage tags are crucial for self-service, this is why: One often overlooked aspect of the travel experience is the process of tagging passenger baggage. When passengers handle the tagging of their own luggage, it can make the check-in process more efficient. However, standard bag tags tend to complicate matters. Passengers frequently struggle with understanding which parts of the tag to pull, which to retain, and which to tear off. This confusion can cause delays 🕐 Therefore, simplifying the bag tagging procedure is crucial to enhancing efficiency and reducing passenger anxiety, ensuring a smooth start to their journey. eezeetags® - Easy. Intelligent Passenger Counting System can accurately grasp the passenger flow of each time period, each bus route, and each station, providing a scientific basis for the planning, management, and operation and scheduling of the bus system. During peak hours, the system can adjust the departure frequency in real time according to the passenger flow to ensure sufficient capacity; during off-peak hours, the number of departures can be appropriately reduced to avoid waste of capacity. In addition, the system can also analyze passengers' travel habits and needs based on their boarding and alighting situations, and provide data support for optimizing bus routes. #peoplecounting The application of the Intelligent Passenger Counting System not only improves the operating efficiency of bus companies, but also improves the travel experience of passengers. Passengers can obtain real-time information on buses more conveniently, avoiding long waits and crowding. At the same time, the application of the system also effectively curbs violations such as fare evasion and ticket skipping, and protects the economic interests of bus companies. www.foorir.com

Passengers' luggage items yielded $7 Billion to American airlines. "Elevate Your Earnings: $10 Extra Per Passenger with Smart Luggage Management! Here is how your airline, too, can use effective customer processing to generate ancillary operational revenues. Aviation professionals know how volatile operational margins actually are. An unexpected change of any given flight parameter will tip the scales from profit to loss. That's why aviation industry leaders consistently seek to identify and implement ancillary revenue streams. One such path comes from effective processing of customers' luggage. On-board cabin luggage items present un-tapped ancillary revenue. Traditionally, most check-in customer-facing staff agents do not record carry-on items' weight nor size accurately. Similarly, boarding agents at the gate regularly let such incidents go without additional charge to the passenger. Research shows that Over 75% of passengers bring carry-on luggage, with more than half exceeding standard size and weight limits set by the airline. When you realize that a typical passenger, when processed according to the airline's proper regulations, would yield an additional $10 charge per flight – the outcome means an ancillary revenue stream of $1,000,000 ($1 Million) for the airline, for every 100,000 passengers! We invite you to see how the user-friendly Checkinch application will enable your check-in agents to quickly assess the weight & size parameters defining the passenger's luggage – and immediately assign the monetary value for appropriate charges: https://lnkd.in/dQvZDzKG Oh, and one more business-critical point: you only start paying for using Checkinch once it starts generating ancillary revenue for your airline. Miami Airport Charges $9 for a Trolley Cart! As a Asian traveler, it is a routine for me to pick the free trolley at an airport. Though very quickly I realised I am no more in the land of abundant manpower and highly pampering/hospitable services. Even though I was traveling light with just an 8kg carry-on, many passengers had large, heavy bags. In my 15 minutes at the baggage belt, I didn’t see anyone using a trolley, even those struggling with oversized luggage. The high price clearly puts people off. Airports are increasingly focused on customer satisfaction, yet charging such a high price for something as basic as a trolley feels like a misstep. Possible reasons for the $9 trolley fee: 1) Revenue Generation Airports have substantial maintenance costs. As a major international hub, the airport may implement trolley fees as a means to cover these expenses. 2) Managing Demand With high passenger traffic during peak seasons, the airport may set a high price to control trolley demand and ensure availability for those who truly need it. However, this is not the peak season. While there may be reasons for the $9 trolley fee, it feels excessive. Airports should aim to make travel more convenient rather than discourage essential services with inflated prices. What are your thoughts?
