Levelling up. Great idea, isn’t it? Where there’s inequality, and we want to fix it, look at what is missing in the less fortunate area and bring it up to standard. The problem is that it’s easier said than done. So when, for example, users of an on-premise version of a system say they like the advantages of being local and having direct access to everything, that isn’t something that can be replicated in the cloud option without quite a lot of difficulty. It must be very tempting to use the excuse of having to share a codebase to remove the ability for the on-premise version to access outside resources instead. Level down to restore parity. Naming no names here. Ahem. Sad to say, sometimes an apparent focus on equality can be a red flag, because if it comes to seem more important than overall well-being, it leads to removing advantage instead of eliminating disadvantage.

The Enfusion team has a lot to celebrate this new year. In 2023, we hired over 300 new employees, moved into three new office spaces, and welcomed several leaders into new roles, including Caroline Ma as our Head of Corporate Development, Dan Jacobs as our Chief Revenue Officer, and most recently Neal Pawar as our Chief Operating Officer. Our employee rehire rate rose to 5%, and our retention rate is currently 86.8%. We revamped our mission, vision, and our core values - the cornerstones for how we operate, and the foundation of our culture. Learn more here: https://bit.ly/3fxXorr We have also spent significant time fostering community inside and outside the office with Employee Resource Group activities, team-building opportunities, and corporate social responsibility initiatives. Some of our regional CSR highlights include: US 🟣 Clothing drives: Our NY and Chicago Offices participated in coat and clothing drives. 🟣 Girls on the Run NYC: Girls on the Run’s mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using experience-based curriculums that integrate running. At the annual 5K race, Enfusion employees helped the girls decorate their race bibs, do dynamic warm-ups and support them post-race with healthy snacks and water. INDIA 🟣 Homes of Hope, Inc.: Enfusion teammates from our Mumbai and Bengaluru offices volunteered with Homes of Hope India, a non-profit that funds orphanages, schools, and empowerment centers throughout India to serve vulnerable young girls who have faced extreme challenges. 🟣 United Way of Bengaluru (UWB) and SSM: UWB works with communities to take local action for global impact, and SSM is an organization whose mission is to build educated, prosperous and sustainable rural communities. Ninety Enfusion employees partnered with UWB and SSM in Nanded, Maharashtra by making more than 3,000 seed balls ready for planting, and planted more than 3,000 tree saplings. 🟣 Versova Welfare School and Kamladevi School: The Enfusion team helped to establish computer labs in two schools in Mumbai to help digitize classrooms. Co-founder Plurality Network | Member DFDC Committee | Blockchain Architect | Multiple Awards & Hackathon Winner | Blogger | Will not stop until my mom uses web3.
🤔 Funny how your past experiences shape your present decisions. A few years ago, I discussed the importance of privacy and safe data sharing on public social platforms. From there to now, I'm still trying to push the concepts of Self-Sovereign Identity into the way we share and consume data online, especially in the web3 platforms. On web3 platforms, data about the user is needed if we ever want to improve the user experience. But, if we replicate the same web2 paradigm of data gathering, then essentially we are bringing the same old problems back. The mission continues with my current project, Plurality. https://lnkd.in/eybzMPtT
