HIGHLIGHTS: ⚒️ High-resolution satellite imagery analysis completed over the Taylors Arm Antimony Project has discovered several new areas which require priority field confirmation. ⚒️ The newly generated targets are in addition to the 71 historically producing ultra-high grade antimony workings and mines located within the Taylors Arm portfolio. ⚒️ Maiden exploration has commenced targeting ultra-high grade antimony mineralisation with a focus on massive stibnite outcrops that have not seen systematic exploration, to generate targets to provide exploration upside for Trigg and its shareholders. We've strategically expanded our Waterlander Niobium-Rare Earth Elements Project in the West Arunta province of Western Australia, with new licences secured at E80/6005 (28.65km²) and E80/6045 (22.29km²), growing our regional footprint to more than 105km². Managing Director Mena Habib said, “Having announced our initial position at Waterlander last week, we are pleased to expand our footprint in the West Arunta region of WA to more than 100km² with the addition of exploration licences.E80/6005 and E80/6045. This is a strategic move to expand our exploration potential in the area immediately adjacent to WA1 Resources’ exciting Luni niobium discovery, which provides additional strike length along the structural faulted area and increases our exploration footprint for the targeted Nb-REE hosting carbonatites. A new paper from #SGU in conjunction with the  #eis_horizonEU. Here we look at what we can learn from the #SGU Regional Till Geochemical Mapping Programme and it's application to  critical mineral exploration, particularly mineral potential mapping. Using a multivariate approach we identified regional trends in till data that may point to favorable mineralization trends. We also found till can give us a good estimate of regional alteration trends, which may prove useful in greenfield exploration areas. https://lnkd.in/dZ9tiu-c

$SUM - SUMMIT Minerals is pleased to provide an update on exploration activities related to its recently acquired Equador Nb-REE Project in northeast Brazil's Borborema Pegmatitic Province (BPP), Paraiba State. The province is one of the world’s most important sources of tantalum, rare earth elements (REEs), beryllium and produces significant quantities of gemstones. Summit engaged image processing specialist Dr Neil Pendock of Dirt Exploration to evaluate the prospectivity of the Equador Project for Niobium mineralisation via Sentinel-2 visible/near-infrared [VNIR], shortwave infrared [SWIR] and ALOS AVNIR-2 satellite imagery. REE metals have many diagnostic spectral features in the VNIR, while some important minerals (such as lepidolite, diamonds, fluorite, niobium, erbium, ytterbium, and neodymium) fluoresce, allowing for their detection. Summit’s Managing Director, Gower H., commented, “The Equador Project is already showing its potential, with the identification of several pegmatite bodies and many historical workings where tantalite and niobium have been found. We've expanded our portfolio by acquiring the Waterlander Project (E80/6046) in Western Australia's West Arunta region, adjacent to WA1 Resources Ltd's major Luni #niobium discovery. The region is known for its potential in niobium and rare earth elements. We aim to conduct ground gravity and geophysical surveys to identify drill targets related to magnetic features once the licence is granted. Additionally, detailed magnetic surveys will assist in mapping the concealed basement lithology. While the development of the Salta Lithium Project in Argentina remains our primary focus, the acquisition of Waterlander represents a strategic step in expanding our REE and niobium footprint, which includes the high-grade Dickson Well prospect in South Australia which returned a screened value of 14,152ppm (1.4%) TREO. Managing Director Mena Habib said, “The addition of the Waterlander Project is an exciting opportunity for Power to secure an early entry to an emerging world-class niobium province and complements the excellent REE results achieved from drilling at our Eyre Peninsula Project. ECOMOF: ECOWAS Mines and Hydrocarbons Forum 2024 The ECOWAS Forum on Mines and Oil (ECOMOF 2024) takes place in Cotonou, Benin, from 22 to 24 February 2024. This regional forum aims to promote the mining and oil sectors to promote the economic and social development of ECOWAS member countries. The theme of this 4th edition is “Geoextractive resources and technologies: what strategies of mutualization for the creation of added value in West Africa”. It stresses the importance of making the mining and oil sectors economic pillars, developing policies that are attractive to investors and increasing the contribution of these sectors to government revenues. The panel “Local content policies and value creation in the geo-extractive sector” was moderated by Mr. Ibrahima WANE, Technical Secretary of the CNSCL in charge of Mines marking the remarkable participation of the Ministry of Mines and Geology of Senegal audit Forum. Exciting surface assay results have returned from initial exploration at Belararox’s Toro targets – part of its Toro-Malambo-Tambo (TMT) copper-gold project in Argentina – strengthening the interpretation the area contains porphyry and/or epithermal mineralisation.
