We were so grateful to be a part of this important project. Kudos to Otak on their beautiful design and to our Walsh team of Jay Nees, Weston Fassiotto, Nolan Knox, and Sara Schubert!
On Friday, we got to join Housing Authority of Lincoln County and Stewardship Development for the grand opening of Wecoma Place! This development features 44 units and gives priority to those impacted by the 2020 Echo Mountain Fire. Beyond that, units are for those working in Lincoln County and living at or below 60% of the area median income. As of the event, all units had been fully moved into. Community Services Consortium and Cornerstone Community Housing will provide resident services. The development features energy-efficient appliances and fixtures to reduce utility costs for residents, and it is located close to public transportation, schools, and shopping centers. Thank you to all the partners involved in making this a reality. We're especially grateful to the county for waiving property taxes and thus reducing development costs, making this more affordable for the community. It is amazing what can happen through the power of collaboration!
