💥 The "Why" Behind Quality: It's Bigger Than You Think 💥 Ever have one of those days where you question your career path? ♂️♀️ Those moments hit me regularly in my 30 years in quality. Even a Chief Quality Officer at a massive company confided in me that the "you must be crazy 🤪" stereotype rings true sometimes. But here's the thing: the answer lies in the passion for quality management. It's the unwavering belief that things can always be improved, that tomorrow can be better than today. This drive is what keeps you going, especially when the company culture aligns with your values. ⏳ Even facing long days as a lab technician, I take pride in the work done and still use those brands today. 🤦🏻 As a site quality manager, feeling unheard was a constant battle. Here are some insights from my experience: 1) Critical Eye for Detail: As the last line of defense, I've developed a meticulous approach to inspection gloves. Our customers are buying our parts so we want to make sure that we give them the best in class products & services. If we can’t deliver it on time then we can always go out of our way to hand deliver them the parts. It’s the little things you do that will make them remember you. Treat people the way you want to be treated & our customers are our people! What drew you to Harper Engineering? I heard it’s a great company to work at with wonderful people & an awesome work culture. I enjoy working at a smaller company where everyone knows everyone like a family. When you’re at home you’re with your real family & when you go to work, you’re with your work family since we spend half of our day at work.
