This month, Locality LIVE featured an insightful conversation with Tosha Miller from the NYCBCC (New York City Black Chamber of Commerce). Tosha discussed the challenges Black-owned businesses face and the vital role of advertising in their growth. Held on the eve of Juneteenth, the event enriched our understanding of this important holiday and highlighted actionable steps we can take to support and advance Black-owned businesses. Special thanks to Micah Minter, our Publisher Partnerships Manager, and a key leader within our People of Color Employee Resource Group (ERG), for hosting the conversation and presenting on the history of Juneteenth. Stay tuned for more from Locality LIVE as we continue to celebrate local communities and the impact of advertising. #LocalityLIVE #BlackOwnedBusinesses #Juneteenth #Advertising #DiversityAndInclusion #CommunitySupport #WeAreLocality #LocalAdsMadeEasy
