Recruiting the best commercial talent across SaaS (start ups/scale ups) & Arts sectors | Senior Consultant | Top 25% LinkedIn Recruitment Company 2024 🌟 Top 2% Industry SSI
Feeling festive here in the Zetter Bury St Edmunds office... 🎄 🎄 Which relates to a question commonly asked; Should I start the job hunt before the New Year? YES - But why? 🎉 ✨ Beat the January rush - Many people make career related resolutions for the New Year, this way having conversations before gives you a head start in terms of competition and processes. ✨ Networking and relationship building - It's no secret people take their foot off the pedal towards the end of the year, therefore you can meet with colleagues/clients in a more relaxed environment and focus on building relationships. Christmas parties for example are a great way to do this when starting a new role! ✨ Momentum and a clean slate for January - Starting a new job before the end of the year allows you to build professional momentum going into the new year. You can hit the ground running and set yourself up for success in the coming months. So, see a role that looks like you on my profile? Get in touch now, stand out from those who are 'waiting' for the New year! 💨

Ho,ho, ho(or not), the party season well and truly kicked off last week, and of course over the weekend, that means for us we have had a lot of ‘mopping up’ to do, at HR and You Ltd we do this by providing expert advice and guidance and bespoke documents to manage the fallout of all the naughtiness!! It is most certainly not over, with more Christmas parties over the next 2 weeks, we are going to be kept busy. Here’s just a sample: 🤺Fighting and scuffling on the works do 😤Arguing with other colleagues 🤬employees telling bosses their true thoughts It is important that you set standards, expectations, and what the consequences can be when things go wrong, we always advise that you communicate these ahead of time, remember; parties/events are an extension of your workplace. If you find yourself in a bit of bother as a result, then we are here to help. ☎️ 03330069489 💻 info@hrandyou.co.uk Kate Ryder Assoc CIPD Nikki Crossland Lulu C.

📈 Ex Care Assistant turned care recruitment expert | Helping amazing people work in the care industry | Values based recruitment advocate ☺️ 👉 📧 Stephen@thecaresocialnetwork.co.uk
🎅 Here’s a photo I’ve dug out from 2018 at my old domiciliary care companies Christmas Party in Wakefield, West Yorkshire when I was the HR and Recruitment Manager. 👉 Because of the growth of our company and the shift patterns the staff were on, we had to have 5 different days with Christmas meals. I attended 4 out of the 5 so I could: 1. Keep up staff morale. 2. Show my face outside of work. 3. Get to know staff more on a personal level. 4. Show that the management team could have fun as well. 5. Listen to any feeeback, good and bad, about the company and use this to improve our team going forward. The Christmas parties were a huge success. Only 1 staff member didn’t attend due to being on holiday. Event and celebrations like this are absolutely MASSIVE for your retention rates. If you don’t have a company retention problem, you’ll never have any recruiting problems as you’ll naturally always be in a +1,2 or 3 staff per month, which will enable you to take on my Clients. Are you having Christmas celebrations with all of your team? You won’t regret it 🎄

🌟Employee Spotlight🌟 Meet Kat! Kat is a Coordinator in our Human Resources Department. Tell us a little bit about your role at Cass Health. My role is a little different every day, but (mostly 😉) circles around three components. I manage most of the recruitment efforts for Cass Health, so if you apply for a position you most likely will talk to me at some point in the process. I also manage anything to do with students — job shadows, clinical rotations, scholarships, and our annual Healthcare Career Camp. Finally, I assist with internal communication to staff, which includes a weekly newsletter and content for our employee website. What have you gained from working at Cass Health? Besides having the opportunity to develop, grow, and try new things, I would say a great support system. The people who work at Cass Health are just special and really look out for each other. It’s an honor each day to do good work with a great team. Would you rather always be sweaty or always be hungry? That’s a tough one, but always be sweaty. I am not a good hangry person. Would you rather be really small or really tall? I am 5’ 4” so I would like to experience being really tall. Live in London or the English countryside? Countryside FOR SURE. I am not a big city person. What would the title of your autobiography be? Don’t stand so close to me. A story of a non-hugger. What children’s character can you relate with most and why? Chilli Heeler (Bluey’s mom) or Cinderella without the step sisters and more chores.

It’s been a while since we introduced you to some of the members of our team – we’d like you to meet Coline Estrade who is our beyond brilliant Office Manager. Not only does Coline ensure the smooth running of Goose HQ, she also bakes us the most incredible goodies, (but that’s not the reason we love her… not the only one anyway!) and generally looks after us all. She is an all-round lovely human🥰 What can Coline tell us about herself? Q: How long have you worked at Goose and what were you doing before? A: I have been working at Goose since April 2023, just a little bit over a year. Before that, I had spent around 6 years in retail, starting from being a Sales Assistant to Manager in the Beauty and Wellbeing industry. Q: What do you like most about being part of Team Goose? A: The people! I never feel anxious about going into the office on a Monday because I know that even if the work can be stressful at times, at Goose I am always surrounded by good people, everyone is friendly and we joke around a lot, I have met some amazing people and feel very privileged to call them my colleagues. Q: What’s one thing you’ve learnt recently? A: I have learnt to not fear asking for help, I often tend to want to figure something out by myself and forget that my colleagues are also here to help, it’s all about teamwork and it’s ok to ask questions, we learn every day. Q: What’s your favourite thing to do outside of work? A: I love to bake, do some shopping and going for coffees and a stroll with friends. Q: Tell us something interesting or quirky about you that few people know? A: I do not know how to whistle! #TeamGoose #EventAgency #WeAreOurPeople #MeettheTeam
