What’s holding us back from taking risks?🎲 Women's success in business isn't about chasing perfection or conforming to outdated standards.🎯 It's about creating spaces where women feel empowered to be bold, take risks, and confidently pursue their ambition. To help more women rise as leaders, sales champions, and game-changers, we need work cultures that encourage experimentation, challenge the status quo, and recognise that success looks different on everyone.💡 🔑Working in sales has taught me a few key things here: 🤝 Too many playbooks are built on a one-size-fits-all approach to selling. 🌱 Sales is more emotional than it seems—driven by the emotions of both the salesperson and the buyer, making emotional intelligence a crucial tool for growth. 💪 Motivation, risk-taking, and confidence are at the heart of what we do. Without establishing an environment where women feel secure to explore all three, we're limiting potential. One of the reasons I love sales is that it has allowed me to connect with incredible female leaders—women who are redefining success in their fields and paving the way for new approaches.🧠 So, here's the question: How can we continue to develop inclusive spaces and support each other in breaking new ground? When I had the opportunity to work with Amy Kapolnek, the Founder and Strategic Advisor of the fwrd group, I jumped at the chance. Not only because the focus for the company is working with founders of emerging brands (such an interesting space!), but also because of the vision and mission Amy has for the company. It is a real pleasure to work with a leader who believes in community, uplifting and supporting others and that there is room for all of us to be successful. So, when Amy told me that the fwrd group was hosting a summit that was centered around the company's mission of empowering "female founders and leaders with expert knowledge, expansive resources, and a supportive community to move their business and careers forward," I leaped at the opportunity to attend! "Success Unleashed: Achieving Power, Purpose and Passion" was a delightful summit of female leadership and support. Many thanks to the speakers for sharing their expertise and their vulnerability. This was so refreshing and what truly set this event apart from others I've been to lately.
