MODEL UNITED NATIONS SEASON-1 Maxfort School, Rohini, conducted its first Model United Nations (MUN) on May 10 and 13, 2024, for students of Classes X, XI, and XII. This two-day simulation aimed to develop 21st-century skills among the learners. It commenced with a special assembly to introduce the functioning and agendas of various committees. It was our honorable Principal ma'am Dr. Ratna Chakravarty’s vision to engross students within domestic as well as international agendas and provide them with a platform to discuss their viewpoints. Agenda of Day 1 & Day 2: Moderated Caucus: Focused discussions on specific topics. Unmoderated Caucus: Time for delegates to draft resolutions or bloc papers. General Speaking List: Countries declare their stance on the agenda.

Understand the digital practices: what are young people doing online? Don't worry, you can catch up the session on the EDMO BELUX’s YouTube channel 🎬 ➡ https://lnkd.in/d5M3yc4K   This time, it was up to Martin Culot, from Média Animation ASBL, and Tatiana Debrabandere, from the Conseil supérieur de l'éducation aux médias to discuss the results of #Generation2024, a survey on the digital practices of kids and teens in French-Speaking #Belgium.   The survey was conducted between October and December 2023. It gathered responses from over 3,700 primary and secondary school students, exploring various facets of their digital lives and #digitalhabits. The survey provides quantitative and comprehensive data on young people’s actual uses of digital technologies, including their access to news and disinformation.
