Bangladesh's large garment factories often do not work with small clothing brands for several reasons: 1. **Economies of Scale**: Big factories in Bangladesh are structured to handle large orders that benefit from economies of scale. Small orders are less efficient to produce, leading to higher per-unit costs and reduced profitability. 2. **Operational Efficiency**: Handling large orders from established brands allows factories to streamline their production processes. Smaller orders disrupt these processes, requiring frequent changes in machinery setups and production schedules. 3. **Financial Stability and Reliability**: Large, established brands provide more financial security and consistent demand, reducing the risk for factories. Small brands, especially new or less established ones, may pose higher financial risks due to potential instability or inconsistent order volumes. 4. **Resource Allocation**: Managing smaller orders requires more administrative effort per unit produced, diverting resources from larger, more profitable clients. Factories prefer to focus on clients that offer more substantial and regular business. 5. **Quality Control and Compliance**: Larger brands often have stringent quality control and compliance standards that align with the factory's capabilities. Small brands might have varying or less defined standards, complicating production processes. 6. **Lead Time and Flexibility**: Small brands may need quicker turnarounds and greater flexibility, which large factories might not accommodate due to their large-scale, scheduled production cycles. 7. **Reputation and Branding**: Large factories often work with well-known international brands, enhancing their reputation. Working with small, less-known brands does not offer the same branding advantages. These factors create a business environment where large factories prioritize orders from big, established brands over smaller, less consistent ones. But we can support you with small qty orders with best quality.

BOOK 2: INTRODUCTION For Some, The Guide to Cost to Value Analysis may prove to be a difficult book. Not so the casual reader. To many, with little or no garment industry knowledge, the points and issues are clear, almost obvious. However, to some garment industry professionals, the work may be seen to be dangerous because the book is an unlearning experience. Imagine you are a global garment industry professional. You have one or more university degrees and 15 years knowledge and experience. You can see that the global garment industry is going down. Imagine this guy publishes a book claiming that the problem is that the industry does not work as you think. Worse the tools you have been using are so flawed that the conclusions you reach make no sense. Imagine this guy is not some ordinary professional. He is a leading garment industry expert. He has published 14 books, umpty-umpth articles, has taught at the Institute of textiles and clothing in Hongkong and the Fashion Institute of Technology in the New York. He has worked for major corporations, governments, and international institutions such as the World Bank the Inter-American Development bank and is known as the Garment Guru. Of course, the professional may read the book and in doing so understand not only the problems facing the industry but more importantly the solutions: How to operate successfully in the new global garment industry. The book starts at the beginning. Business is all about costs. Each decision has its costs. The successful decisions are those where the costs are less than the value. From this simple axiom, we are going to a successful and profitable operation Read the next part of the book on my Substack here:

Is tiruppur, setting back again to form in garment business ? Yes it's true! In the present hot summer season if it gets rain in the mid ,we get a special feel and happiness.Alike that after a long gap of slow run business situation in Tiruppur. It iThe reply would be yes. After a long gap of years. It is quite happy and satisfied to hear this information.Yes the orders on export garments business is good and expected to raise with the business orders at high level on coming days.Which will give hands for next two years.Could see at many garment companies with the board hanging with job vacancies or employee and labour wants? If this issue gets sorted out and if yarn prices and all other accessories on the rite path with ratings. That deals with rate quotes and order quantity too. Also the free trade open policy for few countries in Europea will give hands to textiles garment business too. So hopefully again the tirupur garment market might be getting boom in world level export business. On the case of domestic business ,as of now the sales is slow due to yarn price down fall.Where the sellers and manufacturers need to reduce the price rates down for sales.Which they hesitate to do for now.Yes their concern is correct. But well known domestic manufacturers already they have offered best discounts for selling to wholesalers and to retails show roo Shopkeepers. With no loss of hope ,we expect domestic market also to get in form. Soon.Thats the feel of the drizzling rainy weather in the mid of hot summer. All set well with the things to happen, once after the Indian General Election 2024 results.
