As an ardent proponent of #diversityandinclusion and upholding the ethos of #equalemployment #equalopportunity - this event was very close to my heart! We are striving towards a goal to have 20% women in our #Raymond #madetomeasure #stores in the next 2 years - this is not just because #women make up 50% of our #population or that the #influencer in #buying #decisions on #men’s #clothing are women or even that when you #employ a women you #empower the #household and #society at large BUT most importantly - it makes #business #sense as seen in my #top #performing #stores which are run by #women who are #store #managers or are part of the store teams delivering 25% growth YoY! So #kudos to Meena Sharma and her team in #raymond L&OD for #unnatti #initiative where we #upskill our #women #store #staff to reach greater heights! More power to you! Cheers!

🔵 Standout websites that attract clients & grow your biz—without the overwhelm or tech headaches | Web Designer & Brand Strategist | Flexible Marketing Support | Especially love working with Coaches & Educators 🔵
🤔 What'cha think? Ocado Retail's 'Buy Women Built' aisle is a game-changer! It's not just about shopping; it's about empowering female entrepreneurs and fostering real change 🌟 There are over 1,000 products from 130 women-founded brands 💗, all in one place. It's like a treasure trove of innovation, each item telling a story of determination and creativity. 🔵 For me, it's a vote for a more inclusive business world and a spark for the next generation of female founders. Examples include Bold Beans (yum 😋, a personal fav) and Pip & Nut (another fav). As someone who works closely with brilliant women entrepreneurs, seeing initiatives like this makes my heart sing 💃. It's all about creating those meaningful connections through authentic brands - something I'm passionate about in my own work. And here's the strategist 🤓 side of me speaking - this isn't just a feel-good move. It's smart business 💪 . With over half of consumers saying they'd actively seek out female-founded brands if they were clearly marked, Ocado is tapping into a real desire for diversity in our shopping baskets. ❓So, what's your take on this? ❓How else can we support and uplift women in business? >>> I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas in the comments! Let's create more opportunities for women to shine in the business world. 💪🌟 #femaleledbrands #authenticbrands #ocado #brandstrategy #femaleentrepreneurs #boldbeans https://lnkd.in/e4-8bgjM

When asked where they see the biggest opportunities for driving positive change for women in eCommerce right now, our speakers answered: -Advocating for flexible work policies, equal opportunity, and representation in the workforce. -Encouraging women to shout about their achievements -Modifications in how we recruit: addressing biases in a constructive way They also touched on a management strategy of encouraging an innovation and growth mindset. To fail is to grow and learn; trying something new can only lead to positive outcomes in the long run. Overall, our audience gained insight into the power of positive thinking and how noticing and celebrating real achievements, while learning from failures, is a great path toward success. #retailsummits #womeninecommerce #womeninbusinessuk
