India envisions a future where it is self-reliant (Aatmanirbhar) through clean energy and serves as a beacon for the global transition towards clean energy. The objective of this mission is to put India on the map as a Global Hub for production, usage and export of Green Hydrogen and its by-products. As per the Indian government, the mission will drive substantial decarbonisation of the economy, decrease reliance on fossil fuel imports, and position India as a leader in both technology and market aspects of Green Hydrogen.

Swedish company, Minesto, has developed a new way to generate clean electricity using an underwater kite named Dragon 12. In this article I have examined it's uniqueness & it's Market Potential. I also Developed partnership potential strategies with NTPC Limited, NHPC Limited, TATA Power, Adani Green Energy Ltd., Larsen & Toubro & AFCONS Infrastructure Limited - A Shapoorji Pallonji Group Company. There is a Costing analysis done by me ( Arindam Hazra ) This device named Dragon 12, travels in a figure-eight pattern to multiply the water flow over its wings, resulting in more electricity generation compared to traditional methods. The Dragon 12 is expected to be cheaper and easier to install than offshore wind turbines. Minesto's technology has the potential to be a game-changer for India's renewable energy sector due to several reasons. Firstly, India has a vast coastline with strong tidal currents that can be harnessed by Minesto's underwater kites. Secondly, unlike traditional methods like barrages, these kites pose no threat to the marine ecosystem. Thirdly, these kites can be deployed near coastal communities for generating power locally, reducing transmission loss. Minesto's technology can help India achieve its ambitious renewable energy targets and make better use of its vast ocean territory without impacting land usage. However, there are challenges to address such as cost reduction, environmental impact assessment and establishing regulatory frameworks for underwater kite farms. Minesto can partner with various Indian companies to bring this technology to the Indian market. Potential partners include NTPC, Adani Green Energy, Larsen & Toubro based on their expertise and experience in relevant fields.
