Creating a more sustainable global economy also requires developing a more reliable and resilient economy. To (literally) fuel this evolution, a variety of renewable feedstocks will help decarbonize critical industries. But this cannot be done without partnership and collaboration. Recent work across the #energy, #agriculture and #food sectors, like Chevron Renewable Energy Group, Bayer and Bunge’s support of CoverCress Inc., are prime examples of the potential impact. U.S. Soy also contributes to this cross-sector collaboration as a renewable, less carbon intensive and reliable feedstock. America’s expanding crush capacity will produce the soybean oil used in #biodiesel, #renewablediesel and #SAF, and the increased soybean meal supply will benefit food companies and industrial manufacturers alike. And this is just scratching the surface. I chatted with Clean Fuels Alliance America’s Jonathan Martin about the exciting past, present and future of biofuels. Listen to the full conversation here.
