Did you know there are less than 120 business days left of 2024? That doesn't take into account time off, holidays, lack of availability on provider schedules, etc... Now is the time to look at your membership rosters and ensure that all of your patients have been scheduled and/or already seen for 2024. Some things to consider: ✅ How many patients have not had their AWV yet for 2024? How much revenue are you missing out on by not doing AWV's? Having a solid AWV template built into your EHR is a game changer and will simplify so many workflows. ✅ Have you re-captured the previous years conditions appropriately? Do you need to recall any of those patients? ✅ Have quality items been addressed for your patients? ✅ When looking at your membership roster, do you see patients with high utilization that may be a good fit for a case management program? Last time we defined duplication in EHR, let's today talk about it's causes; Absence of standardized records personnels (HRITs) in hospital set ups at the entrance point (reception). 35% of duplications are caused during patient registration point Human mistakes/errors. Tiredness, overwhelmeness etc might cause a lot of significant errors. Change of informations. Change of informations like phone number, names, locations etc makes it hard to identify the previous account hence leading to duplications. Lack of enough patients information during registration. If the record is not full or the initial record contains too little information, you will have to browse through hundreds of records in order to locate the needed patient. Next time we'll discuss the consequences/risks of duplicate records.

We are baffled... It still amazes us, week after week, how many private healthcare providers in the UK DON'T have a booking system. Not even a simple one. Not even Calendly!!! We're astounded. Do clinics really still expect patients to call for an appointment? Or fill in those silly contact forms to request a callback? Are we still in the 1990s? Clinics need to wake up and smell the coffee! Patients are simply too busy to call!!! (And they're definitely too busy to fill in those contact forms) There is a huge shift in digital innovation in healthcare, and clinics need to keep up. Fun fact: 69% of patients are ASKING for digital touchpoints when booking healthcare appointments - 69%!!!
