Barely any of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are on track to be achieved by the 2030 deadline. Goal 5, gender equality is among the goals that have fallen short, despite the fact that progress for women brings progress for every other area of development. Women entrepreneurs play a key role in creating a more gender equal society and accelerating progress for nearly every SDG. From the CFMEU’s administration to launching the Foundations and Frontiers (#FF24) forum, 2024 has been quite a year. Key highlights: 🔹 National Construction Strategy: FF24 laid the foundation for Australia’s first plan to transform the industry. 🔹 Innovation and equality: Progress on modern construction methods and commitments to gender equality, including becoming WGEA-certified Employers of Choice by 2028. 🔹 Collaboration: Initiatives like the industry Culture Standard and Construction Industry Leadership Forum proved that collaboration can tackle tough challenges. Women make up only 34% of the STEAM workforce globally. The gender gap is particularly high in some of the fastest-growing and highest-paid STEAM fields like computer science and engineering. By highlighting the achievements of these women, the Zuri Awards hopes to inspire inclusion, break biases, and forge a more equitable and inclusive world for all.  The awards are aligned with the 5th Sustainable Development Goal on Gender Equality.

It is possible my problem was due to the fact that women have to fight each other to get to the top.... that is why it was easy to believe malicious rumours about me? Your thoughts? Also, do you think it is easier for many to dismiss me as a crazy woman no one had to listen to? What are your thoughts on that? AMSRO leadership in 2019- 2020 just watched as others torched my reputation, as an Asian female I am worth very little... AMSRS leadership removed my membership in March 2020 because I blew the whistle on a lot of unethical practices, including the fabrication of 100% of the data for a mystery job for one of the biggest CRM companies in the world. Did they contact my clients? No... What are your thoughts if my clients paid Market Solutions in Melbourne Victoria Australia in 2017 the following amounts because I was part owner of the business... $976.25 for a report that took 5 weeks to write (the person who wrote it is a white man with over 20 years experience in the industry (they will also torch his reputation as they needed a reason why we were removed from the job) $0 for a questionnaire that took 10 days of consultation? Less than $700 for planning that took over 200 hours or more (At one point, I could not count anymore because of sleep deprivation).I let them abuse me working for nothing, and at a loss... Then PTV locked me out of the PTV panel.... When I reported wrongdoing to many organisations, the whistleblower service failed to act independent, the forensic investigators ended up watching a cover up, people lied to me, gaslit me... what are your thoughts on financial abuse and gaslighting of women? I went online to tell my story and still... I am invisible. Please do something when you take over Yarra Trams... be a champion of change
