Despite the increased focus on DEI initiatives, the disability community is often sidelined in these discussions. Surprisingly, only 3% of articles on diversity in 2019 and 2020 mentioned disabilities. Expanding our view of diversity to encompass disability is crucial. Companies excelling in disability employment and inclusion witness significant advantages: - 28% higher revenue - 200% higher net income - 30% higher economic profit margins - 200% increased likelihood of outperforming peers in total shareholder returns With over 750 million individuals globally, the disability community represents an immense untapped talent pool.
