Turkish contractors are set to play a significant role in Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030" project, according to Erdal Eren, the president of the Turkish Contractors Association (TMB). This development is expected to generate an annual investment of $10 billion for the Turkish construction industry. Turkish contractors are renowned for their cost-effective international-standard services, extensive market experience, proactive approach, risk-taking ability, and extensive collaboration experience. They have completed 402 projects worth $27.8 billion in Saudi Arabia, making it the sixth country where Turkish companies have undertaken the most projects among foreign contracting services. In 2023 alone, Turkish companies have undertaken 16 projects worth $2.7 billion in Saudi Arabia. As part of the Saudi 2030 vision and Giga projects program, Turkish companies are planning to send a delegation to the country this year to participate in the Neom, Diriyah Gate, Qiddiya, Red Sea Global, and Al'Ula projects and other energy, water, housing, and infrastructure projects. According to studies released by relevant organizations, infrastructure and superstructure projects worth $1.4 trillion are planned to be developed in Saudi Arabia over the next 15 years. The Middle East and North Africa region is expected to implement projects worth $3.9 trillion in the coming period.
