Bye #G2E! Another great year at the Imprivata booth sharing how we help casinos increase security, improve workflows, and reach compliance through access management. Thanks to everyone who stopped by 😊 If we missed you, please let me know and we can connect soon!
✨ Our incredible exhibitors are waving goodbye from the show floor, but the connections and memories made this week will last long after the lights go down in Vegas. What was your biggest takeaway from this year's show?

SIAL Paris 2024 and practical observations😎 I had nice break of visiting SIAL (or Anuga) during last 4 years and this time got fresh impressions, which would like to share with you. Kind of keys of succes for productive exhibition: ✅Planning: well organized agenda and material for the meetings will safe your time and energy, both are very valuable ✅To-find list: think in advance about the new products or producers you would like to meet, make it concrete and share with your team ✅Personal introduction: even 10 minutes of short meeting with potential partner gives to both of you more information than weeks of correspondance after ✅Degustation: it’s probably the best way in short period of time to get understanding of the difference in organoleptic and quality of products. Just try it!😉 ✅Team: discuss expectation from the show, share the results every day during the show and make summarizing meeting after that ✅Comfortable look: aha! 8 hours of active walking and communalication need your energy. Fashion shoes and dress look always great, but it must be comfortable first of all😎 But!!! All that bullets make no sense if after the show you’ll not keep contact with new partners. Send short reminder just after the meeting with topics of discussion and keep contact🤝 Which insights do you have after SIAL 2024? Please, share with us. They can be very helpfull for our audience🙏 Now we go to the most important part of the show - follow up😎 And it means, very soon new great products will arrive to Ukraine and Сільпо stores❤️

What's one of the first things you should do when planning to exhibit at a trade show? I believe you should start planning out everything you will need to do and take with you to the expo. Therefore, a good place to start is with a checklist. Here's a small extract from a recent webinar I ran, discussing a couple of things you may want to think about.

Calling all trade show experts (attendees and organisers alike) - I want your advice 🙏 In your opinion, what ACTUALLY stops footfall and gets attention in a big open space full of expo stands? I'm organising my very first one and as is my nature, I'm determined for our stand to be ✨ stand-out ✨ So, my two questions: 👉 What has been done to death? List all the boring things you see at trade shows! 👉 What is something you've seen that really stopped you in your tracks OR something you've done that received excellent engagement? I don't care if your answer is obvious - sometimes being too clever is counter-productive. Spill your secrets 👀 Pictured: at my very first trade show, nervy as all hell, attempting to help my two brothers take their toy business to another level (spoiler: our sheet-as-a-backdrop did not dissuade potential buyers) 😅

As I attend more shows and engage with exhibitors, I'm learning all sorts of tips and tricks for both attending and exhibiting at trade shows. I want to share this knowledge, so I'm starting a new initiative that I’ll call “Trade Show Tuesday Tips”—mainly because I love alliteration and I’m not the best at coming up with creative names! 😊 I hope others will find these tips helpful. Here’s Tip No. 1: Bring your water bottle. At a recent show, I forgot my water bottle. There were refill stations throughout the convention center, which could have saved me some money. Water is quite pricey at these venues—up to $5 per bottle! (It's reminiscent of airports; they know they have a captive audience.) To save yourself and your company some money, be sure to pack your water bottle in your backpack before heading to the show. #tradeshowtuesdaytips #tradeshow

What will you do to bring more people to your trade show booth next year? If you are going to spend the high cost of attending a trade show, why not put the elements in your booth that will drive traffic, get the key decision makers to the booth & stay for a bit and generate some real relationships and leads from it? Studies show that when you have a live speaker or live activity in your trade show booth it exponentially increases foot traffic and lead volume. We agree. We love interviewing your industry leaders, key prospects and top execs in your trade show booth. We do it all for you from setting up the interview, setting up the podcast set, doing the interview and generating excitement for your booth. Check out some recent conferences where we grew a booth audience just by having our show there live! Amani Roberts, M.A. 🎧 🎤 📚 Mandi Graziano https://lnkd.in/gUSU7wD3

We've all been there - hearing the words "We're cutting your budget for this year's trade shows." It's a common struggle many of us face. At Genesis Exhibits, our clients often share the same sentiment. My friend, Jim Cermak, recently discussed this challenge in a candid interview. He shared a similar experience where he was informed of a budget cut after submitting his plans, leaving him with more shows than the previous year. It's a situation that requires us to do more with less, pushing us to get creative. If you resonate with this, you won't want to miss Jim's latest guest, Rich Rodrigues. Despite being a newcomer to the industry, Rich has already made a significant impact for his clients. In his interview, he offers valuable strategies for saving money and executing successful trade shows on a limited budget. Rich delves into essential topics such as handling budget cuts, innovative event ideas, capitalizing on larger event crowds, the significance of Micro events in brand growth, and more. Don't miss out on these insightful discussions and tips to navigate the challenges of trade show management effectively. Watch the interview here: https://lnkd.in/gTr9f2yb
