Lessons must be learned from previous mistakes: government data shows there was a 348% increase in refugee homelessness this year. At Young Roots, we supported many young people at risk of rough sleeping after being granted refugee status. As more asylum claims are now being processed, it’s vital that urgent steps are taken to prevent a new crisis emerging.
