Leaving a toxic job is an act of bravery, not an act of defeat. A toxic job is more likely to change you than you are to change it. Culture is not about free coffee, free pizza, or happy hours. Culture is about work/life balance, good pay, and great leaders. Employees don't quit jobs; they quit low salaries, bad managers, and toxic work environments. 3 toxic workplace behaviors we need to stop normalizing: 1. 24/7 work 2. Micromanagement 3. No respect or recognition Prioritize your mental health. No job is worth sacrificing your mental health. #Hotelier #Hospitality Nishant Beniwal #Deepthoughts

Dear companies, "My previous company had a toxic work culture." is a valid reason for job switch. No questions asked! Good employees hardly quit their jobs, more often than not they quit toxic work environment, micromanagement, unnecessary work trackers, office politics, etc. That IS a fair enough reason to quit a job. It's time we start prioritizing mental health and end the culture of normalizing toxicity at work. Happy Monday :) #justsaying #officeculture #workculture #workenvironment #mondayblues

At Debbie Burbage Recruitment, we understand that recognising the signs of work burnout is crucial for maintaining a healthy and productive work environment. As we resume work after the bank holiday weekend, if you are feeling overwhelmed or unusually fatigued, please don’t ignore these feelings. Talk to your manager, a friend, or a family member about what you're experiencing. Burnout not only affects mental and physical health but also reduces workplace efficiency and satisfaction. It’s important to identify the symptoms— such as chronic fatigue, irritability, and a decrease in job performance. If you need the ear of an impartial person, please reach out to us at Debbie Burbage Recruitment. We're here to listen and support you. We advocate proactive strategies to improve work-life balance. These include setting clear boundaries between work and personal time, ensuring regular breaks throughout the day, and encouraging a supportive team culture where employees feel comfortable discussing their workload and stress levels. Leaders can foster this environment by promoting flexibility, offering mental health resources, and leading by example. Remember, a balanced team is a motivated and effective one. Let’s prioritise well-being to not only enhance productivity but to also ensure that our professional journeys are sustainable and enjoyable. #WorkBurnout #WorkLifeBalance #EmployeeWellbeing #DebbieBurbageRecruitment
