Why do people procrastinate to pull together their life plan, to be ready for unplanned life transitions? I don't know the answer but it is my mission to improve this situation. On the other hand, it is refreshing to see cancer patient that are going through life-changing events totally engaged in pulling their plans together, seeking to learn how to put a complete plan in place. At every quarterly workshop at the Ottawa Cancer Hub, I am amazed of the open conversations, positive attitude of these people that are going through difficult life events and transitions. Very pleasant and gratifying.
