Reddit, Inc. will soon be introducing a new feature to their ad system in compliance with the European Union Digital Services Act. 'About this ad' will be gradually rolling out to all ads from January 22nd through February 17th, 2024. This update will provide consistency and transparency for all users and advertisers, globally. If you haven't already, do yourself a favour and check out the latest Australian Lamb ad campaign: https://lnkd.in/gJRdpFXA I always appreciate a good ad campaign, especially those that do more than simply showcase a product or service. And that's exactly what Australian Lamb's annual video has done this year, with a hilarious take on generational differences. The ad titled 'The Generation Gap' pokes fun at the population's generational divide, showing physical land fissures separating each generation onto their own island and growing wider each time one picks on another. From Boomers to Gen X, Gen Z, and Millennials, no one is spared in this ad, and the result is pure comedic gold. Amidst all the laughter, what's noteworthy is that the advertisement ultimately highlights a shared love for lamb and brings generations together. As marketers, we can take inspiration from ads that not only entertain but also connect with audiences on a human level. Hats off to Australian Lamb for yet another brilliant and engaging advertisement, and for reminding us that while we may have our differences, we can always unite over a delicious lamb barbecue (if you can afford it that is 🤑).
