Happy Independence Day, my dear Ukraine 🇺🇦 The 33rd anniversary of Independence is incredibly symbolic. So much has happened over these years: the post-Soviet era, various crises, including economic ones, reforms, revolutions, invasions, and the continuous struggle for that same independence. I was "lucky" enough to be born in 1996 and witness all of this. But there is no sadness—only a strong desire to see the continued growth of our state and society. On this day, my only wish is for Ukraine to remain independent for centuries to come, to grow stronger, more resilient, and, of course, to be a peaceful nation where there are no alarms and where young people don't have to trade their youth for war. Happy Independence Day, my beloved! I am with you, even when thousands of kilometers away 🙏❤️

Happy International Youth Day! 🫶🏻 On this special day, I want to congratulate everyone who feels young! 🎉 Youth is truly incredible—smart, talented, creative, and strong. With such remarkable young people, I believe our world has a bright future ahead. ❤️ Today, I had the pleasure of attending the Ukrainian Youth Forum "Free to Dream," where over 300 young leaders gathered to hear from President Volodymyr Zelensky, Speaker of Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk, and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. 🇺🇦 Ukrainian President Zelensky announced several new state programs to support our youth, set to launch in September: - The "єOselya" program with favorable conditions for young people. - A new grant program for starting businesses. - Educational grants to support students. During the Forum, the President had an informal conversation with the youth, discussing topics like youth infrastructure, and the unification of young Ukrainians at home and abroad. 🇺🇦 Speaker of Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk emphasized the importance of youth legislative initiatives and announced the creation of a youth council at the Parliament. 🇺🇦 Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal highlighted the new "open doors" youth policy, focusing on human capital development, youth integration into state processes, health, and inclusiveness. Together, we are building a future where young people are empowered to lead, and where Ukraine continues to thrive. #YouthDay #YouthPolicy

Happy USA Independence Day! 🇺🇸 This is my favorite picture with my dear classmate, Miriam Roday. I'm proud to highlight Miriam, my final project teammate at the LSE and an American soul. She is a very talented policymaker with a bright future. Her dedication and passion for public service are truly inspiring, and I believe the future of the US will be shaped by people like her! 👏🏻 Through my daily conversations with her, I have discovered how supportive Americans are. Therefore, I extend heartfelt gratitude to all Americans for their steadfast support of Ukrainians in our struggle for independence in Putin’s war against Ukraine. Summer Ball 2024 ☀️ I recently had the honor of attending the Summer Ball at Goodenough College in London. It was wonderful to see fellow students from Ukraine and to feel united by our common goals ❤️ In British culture, a ball is more than just a social event. It's a venue for networking, meeting new people, and discussing topics ranging from fashion and history to cultural events and political processes. Historically, during the Regency period in Britain, balls were major social events. They took place in assembly halls or private houses, and while public balls were open to the whole town, private balls required an invitation from the host family. These events were often exclusive to the "chosen ones." Today, however, balls are open to everyone, and I highly recommend experiencing one if you have the opportunity 💃 Special thanks to my colleague Sofia Klymchuk for the invitation! ❤️

Women in Diplomacy 👩💼 Today, on International Day of Women in Diplomacy, we celebrate the achievements of women diplomats around the world and recognize the importance of their contributions. ✅ We can discuss this endlessly, but especially now, each of us ladies is a diplomat! We work, lobby, advocate, and protect peace, inclusivity, diversity, democracy, and human rights, among many other crucial values. Our efforts shape the world around us, making it more just and equitable. By standing together and raising our voices, we can drive meaningful change and ensure that these fundamental principles are upheld for future generations. 🔺 An interesting fact: Women’s representation in international diplomacy is alarmingly low. Though it varies across countries and regions, women’s underrepresentation in international diplomacy is pervasive. Despite a few women holding senior leadership positions in prominent institutions such as the World Trade Organization, European Commission, International Monetary Fund, and European Central Bank, women’s representation within international organisations is unequal and only twenty percent of ambassadors worldwide are women. At the same time, research increasingly shows that diversity enhances decision-making capabilities, better addresses the needs of a diverse population, and embodies a commitment to the democratic principles of inclusion and tolerance.
