Since 2021 we've embarked on a mission to create a culture powered by people impact and change. Our colleagues have acheived a lot since then, and we've come a long way together to create a better future for all. As we look forward to the year ahead, we're proud to say that since 2021: 👨🏿🦲 Representation of under-represented ethnic groups has increased at group level for the second consecutive year to 12%. ✔️ +3% YoY of under-represented ethnic groups in Heads of and Director populations. ♀️ 38% female representation in Heads of population. 🏳️🌈 We're proud to represent LGBTQIA+ across all areas of Zenith. This year was the first since the launch of our inclusion mission that we achieved representation that mirrors or exceeds the UK LGTBQIA+ population, in every single division of the business. ⭐ We continue to provide more opportunities for those aged under-24 for the third year running. Greater diversity at Zenith means better ideas, a more inclusive culture, and improved business performance. We wouldn't be able to make a difference in the way we work without the support of our colleagues, customers and suppliers. People powered impact is driven by the community we serve. This afternoon, I’m speaking at the CIPD Conference on a topic that's never felt more urgent: unlocking the power of inclusive leadership and embedding Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) into everything we do. Yet, as I prepare, I’m grappling with a mix of disbelief, sorrow, and fear over what’s unfolding across the ocean. No matter where we stand politically, it’s clear: divisive identity politics have gained traction, promoting messages of “us vs. them.” Against this backdrop, how do we maintain our commitment to inclusion and equity? How do we ensure that everyone, regardless of their background, feels safe and valued? We persist. We dig deeper because we must. When communities feel marginalised or threatened - women, people from ethnically minoritised communities, the LGBTQ+ community, people of different faiths, those with disabilities - it’s on us, especially those of us with any form of privilege, to stand up and stand beside them. If we’re truly dedicated to inclusive leadership, now is the time to act on it. To each person reading this: I urge you to use whatever influence, privilege, or voice you have to support and protect these communities. It might feel like a heavy burden, but remember, we aren’t doing this alone. We need to show the world that inclusion, equity, and compassion aren’t just words we discuss at conferences - they’re the principles that drive us, especially when times are tough. We need to be the leaders our world needs right now. They’re looking to us. I am looking to you.

Diversity is more than a buzzword. A truly inclusive organisation listens to ALL voices: seasoned veterans, young people, varied socioeconomic backgrounds, gender, and neurotype (including allies!). Diversity isn’t binary and shouldn’t be used to create an us vs them scenario. We can create positive change together. Look beyond performative inclusion, embrace diverse perspectives and take that step closer to achieving inclusion. #inclusion #diversity #neurodiversity #leadership #futureofwork #mentalhealth #dei

Diverse teams are 35% more likely to outperform their peers in innovation and decision-making (McKinsey, 2020). As we reach the end of #GlobalDiversityAwarenessMonth, we are reminded that diversity goes beyond acknowledging differences—it’s about celebrating them and fostering meaningful inclusion. In her latest article, our Founder & CEO Sonica Aron (She/Her/Hers) delves into the importance of recognizing diversity across multiple dimensions—race, gender, age, ability, and beyond—and how they intersect to shape individual experiences. This month offers an opportunity for reflection: Are we truly fostering an environment where everyone feels valued? Are our organizational practices driving inclusivity year-round, not just during observances? Creating lasting change requires intentional action—building diverse teams, empowering ERGs, and implementing inclusive policies that leave no one behind. Let’s use this month as a catalyst to foster cultures of belonging in the workplace and beyond. Read more to see how we can take meaningful action! They say ignorance is bliss, but is it??? Isn't it necessary to be aware of yourself, your privilege, and the world around you???? Today, I am questioning myself, Am I doing enough???? Lets come together and support each other as #allies. Embracing diversity is a collective responsibility. Let us all be advocates, challengers, and allies. Our privileges, platforms, our passions, our very presence can be used to uplift the underrepresented. Its high time we all realize that our strength lies in our shared purpose which will enable us to create workplaces and communities where everyone is valued and each voice is heard and respected. Let us be a part of this change, let us all be the champions of inclusion because when we stand together, our impact is everlasting. Happy International Allyship Day 2024. #InternationalAllyshipDay #Allyship #Diversity #Inclusion #Support #Equality #Impact #SocialJustice #future #change

In its essence, DEI is all about PEOPLE, where we create an environment where everyone feels safe and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work and contribute to a meaningful change. Equity goes beyond equality by acknowledging systemic barriers and creating fair opportunities for all. It is about creating a level playing field, ensuring resources and opportunities are provided to meet individual's needs and removing obstacles that hinder their success. https://lnkd.in/gQ2xrssU
