Since 2017, our team at Easy Mile Fitness has prioritized Monthly Offsites for our +40 General Managers. With 90 meetings under our belt, these sessions may look a little bit different than the old days, but remain an important space for discussing the business, sharing best practices, and fostering team camaraderie. 📈💡🤝 While each of our Planet Fitness locations is unique, these Offsites allow the team to collaborate on how to address common challenges across the organization. By working together, we can brainstorm innovative ideas to enhance the experience for our ~300,000 members and the 50,000 daily visitors to our facilities. Despite our organization's growth and changes, the commitment to these team gatherings has never wavered. While no longer run by Philip Amato and myself, under the much more effective leadership of Mandi Castagnola and Keishla Tejedor Rodriguez these Offsites have only become a more important part of our business. Looking forward to many more great Offsites to come!👏 #TeamBuilding #Leadership #Collaboration #BusinessGrowth

Here we go again. Having done a few sports complexes over the last few years, figured why not do it again. KPI Engineering, Inc. is excited about this project and humbled to be able to be a part of such an impact on the town of City of Odessa, Texas! Glad to hear the excitement from City officials and others as the project continues to get underway. Also, looking forward to the impact sports tourism dollars will have on the area. The partnership with PAUL STRESING ASSOCIATES, INC. and RADDSports has already produced successful ventures for the complexes and municipalities we've worked with before. While the design and construction team which also includes Construction Manager Scherer Construction may not be directly involved in the operation of the complex, the team understands a successful implementation of the project is of prime importance and that includes its design, collaboration with selected contractors during construction, and final close out. 🚀 *Norwich City: Mastering Dynamic Entries in Set-Pieces* ⚽ ### 📊 *Norwich City’s Dynamic Entry Set-Piece Tactic:* Norwich City employs a brilliant strategy where a player initially positioned outside the box becomes the primary target through rapid movement. Here’s how they execute this tactic effectively .. ### 2. *Dynamic Entry from Outside the Box:* - *Setup:* A designated player stands outside the box at the start of the corner. - *Execution:* This player makes a sudden, rapid run into the box, aiming to lose his marker and become the main target. - *Blocking:* Nearest teammates inside the box perform blocking actions, impeding the movements of nearby defenders to ensure the runner has a clear path. - *Outcome:* The runner often finds himself in a free position to receive the cross and convert it into a goal. #NorwichCity #SetPieceStrategy #FootballTactics #SoccerAnalysis #PremierLeague Once Sport

Why We Shifted to Annual Tours: A Strategic Move with Significant Benefits We used to tour every 2-3 years, but after some careful thought, we shifted to an annual tour model for a number of sports @ Tonbridge School Here’s why this change has made such an impact: 1. Galvanising Team Spirit: Touring every year strengthens relationships within the squad. It’s more than just sport—these experiences build lasting connections and improve team cohesion on and off the field. 2. Cultural Exchange: Our tours to places like the Basque region of France offer a unique blend of sport and culture. These cultural exchanges go beyond the game, broadening perspectives and creating well-rounded individuals. 3. Constant Challenge: Regular tours expose us to a variety of playing styles and environments, keeping our team adaptable and constantly improving. 4. Player Development: The annual structure accelerates development, particularly for younger players, providing invaluable experience and preparation for higher-level competition. 5. Inclusivity: By touring annually, we ensure that more students get the opportunity to participate and don’t miss out on the valuable experiences these tours offer. 6. Strengthening Team Identity: Each tour helps us reaffirm our team’s identity and values, while experiencing different rugby cultures across the world. Switching to annual tours isn’t just about playing more matches—it’s about creating experiences that galvanise the squad, grow our players, and give more students the chance to be part of something special. ⚫️ ⚪️ 🐗
First Tour with Tonbridge School Complete Before flying out to Biarritz, I had the opportunity to re-test the boys on the following battery: 💥 Speed: 10m, 20m, 40m 💥 Agility: 5-0-5 💥 Countermovement Jump (CMJ) 💥 Bronco 💥 1RM Bench Press and 3RM Back Squat 💥 Max Chin-Ups 💥 6s Wingate After spending some time over the summer trialing and setting up our new STATSports GPS pods, I was eager to introduce them to the lads and monitor the training stimulus more accurately using the HiMet feature. Meanwhile, the boys were particularly excited to focus on their Top Speed! Throughout the week, I focused on integrating fun games into the warm-ups. These games not only challenged their acceleration, top speed, and agility in a rugby-specific context, but also targeted injury-prone areas to "bulletproof" their bodies. A staple of our warm-ups was the wicket runs, which helped the boys reduce foot drag, maintain optimal hip height, and build into their strides seamlessly. Finally, using the Bronco MAS results allowed me to individualize a lot of the conditioning and RSA blocks for the lads—something I’m sure they appreciated. Keywords that stood out over the week: Diligent. Critical. Energetic. Looking forward to the season ahead!

We're excited to collaborate with Sportstats and Runnin' Refs this weekend to enhance sports officials' performance! 🏀🏃♂️ Many officials think it's all about running, but high-intensity distance, accelerations, and decelerations are all crucial. The most fascinating insight? The frequent stopping and starting officials do. This not only adds to their workload but also highlights the need for specific training. Understanding these metrics helps us: 🏀Prepare better for the demands of the game 🏀Reduce fatigue 🏀Prevent injuries We're looking forward to using these insights to keep our officials in top shape and injury-free! 💪📊 #SportsOfficials #PerformanceOptimization #SportStats #RunninRefs #InjuryPrevention #AthleticTraining #GameDayReady Austin Ardrey
