Ad disapproved due to Capitalization/Abbreviation on LinkedIn" - How to avoid?

Your Ad can be disapproved due to excessive "Capitalization or Abbreviation".

It occurs when you sponsored post your LinkedIn content/post. To avoid such error, follow the following pattern or method.

It takes me all the Ad formats like ( Text Ad, Single Image Ad, Carousel Image Ad, Video Ad, Spotlight Ad, Message Ad and Conversation Ad) to understand completely how this works. Let me explain you all with certain Example:

Not - Allowed Format:

  • PROFESSOR CAN - understand students feeling.
  • Professor Can - understand students feeling.
  • PrOfEsSOr cAn - understand students feeling

Allowed Format:

  • Professor can - understand students feeling.

And also the first letter of the every word should not be capitalized necessarily. Example:

Not - Allowed Format:

Search Engine Marketing Helps You To Rank Inorganically.

Allowed Format:

Search engine marketing helps you to rank inorganically.

Capitalization is allowed for common acronyms, abbreviations, or initialisms. Capitalization is also allowed for trademarks, brand names, or product names that are consistently capitalized on your website or app.

For example, the following should be capitalized:

  • Proper nouns: companies, products, organizations
  • The singular pronoun "I"
  • Acronyms such as HTML, NATO, FAQ

When in doubt, refer to Wikipedia for the correct capitalization of proper nouns.

 Common abbreviations are permitted, but where possible, the full word should be used.

  • Not permitted: Apply for exciting govt opportunities.
  • Acceptable: Apply for exciting government opportunities.
  • Acceptable: 40% off if you register now. Register ASAP to not miss this great deal.

The following abbreviations should not be used:

  • govt (government)
  • smthg (something)
  • mgmt (management)
  • Lol (laughing out loud)
  • Afk (away from keyboard)
  • Intl (international)

The following commonly used abbreviations are permitted (units of measure are generally permitted):

  • mth, mo, yr (month, month, year) - for instance, $29/mth or $29/mo is acceptable
  • mil (million)
  • min (minute)
  • hr/h (hour)
  • Ms. / Mr. (Miss / Mister)
  • admins
  • execs
  • asap/ASAP
