As we're rolling into the second half of the year, here's everything we've been up to in 2024 so far:

  • In collaboration with Xsolla, we released the new Monetization Overview.
  • We updated how A/B test results are calculated. Instead of a single aggregated metric, we now account for variations in user activity day by day - providing better insights into daily user engagement and aligning with the metrics available in Explore.
  • We've focused on improving our tool, for both free and Pro customers. You can keep up with our updates from our Wall of Updates.
  • Indie developers and small studios can benefit from the Pro plan at a discounted price through our Indie Program.
  • We launched the 2023 Roblox Report and the Q1 2024 Mobile Gaming Benchmarks.
  • We attended PGC London, Gamesforum Barcelona, GDC San Francisco, Think Games Istanbul, and Nordic Game in Malmö.

In the next half of the year, we will continue to focus on delivering the best data analysis platform for game developers, studios and publishers. GameAnalytics H1 Product Updates

Curious what we were up to the past six months? Here's a quick overview:

  • We brought back GameIntel and you can once again access industry benchmarks and store rank data.
  • Extracting and transferring your game’s raw data to your preferred storage solutions is now available in real-time.
  • We enhanced our existing error reporting functionality to offer deeper insights into the technical aspects of player experiences. Frames per second, memory usage and app boot time data is available to Pro users.
  • To ensure compliance and transparency with the new Apple guidelines and regulations, we have diligently updated our GameAnalytics SDK for iOS and Unity platforms.
  • We added ILRD Count Per DAU and ILRD Revenue Per DAU which reports the revenue or count for impressions (ads shown by an Ad Mediation SDK) divided by all DAU. Additionally, you can also access ILRD by placement.
  • You can now control which games you track in GameAnalytics without updating your SDK. Choose between collecting all events, only session events, or disabling event collection altogether.
