Positive policies to grow SA

Positive policies to grow SA

In the wake of last week's horrendous unemployment figures which saw South Australi post the worst unemployment rate in the nation for the 29th month in a row (on trend), the Marshall Liberal team has again stated its position to return the ESL remissions to businesses and families at the next state election. This will alleviate pressure on businesses and allow them to grow.

Returning the remission will put $360 million back into the pockets of South Australian businesses to spend on employing more people and growing their operations. It will enable South Australian's to spend their money in their local economy.t

The Marshall Liberal team has also committed to cutting the state based renewable energy target from 50% to the national figure which is just over 23%. This will put us on a level playing field with other states and stop sky rocketing electricity prices in South Australia, a benefit to businesses and families alike.

Council rate capping is another policy to help put a stop to rising costs for businesses and families which will make it more competitive to do business here in SA compared to other states in Australia. All these policies will allow businesses to grow and employ more South Australians.

This is just the start and more policies will be announced in the months ahead.
