Research across three Indian states reveal inequality as a key driver of climate vulnerability, emphasizing the need for equitable urban development. The new WRI India report ‘Climate Resilient Cities: Assessing Differential Vulnerability to Climate Hazards in Urban India’ presents these critical findings and introduces a unique Climate Hazards and Vulnerability Assessment (CHVA) Framework to assess vulnerability climate risks.
