The Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Jacksonville concrete slab foundation is being poured! The onsite teams are busy installing and routing the mechanical, electrical and plumbing pathways for the building while concrete vertical structural supports (rebar) are being formed and placed strategically across the building footprint to handle the structure’s weights and loads.

We recently welcomed an eager group of PCL Construction interns from Orlando for hands-on training. Students received a Jacksonville Shipyards project overview before hearing from several key people working on the project. The day culminated in a hard tour of the active Shipyards site. The interns represent an array of universities, and we caught up with Sydney Carrieri (Auburn University) and Jordan Williams (University of Florida).
