🇨🇦 Nous avons organisé un webinaire en collaboration avec nos partenaires OIE Srbija et New Energy Solutions consacré au potentiel des sources d’énergie renouvelable en #Serbie. L’objectif était de présenter aux investisseurs canadiens les opportunités croissantes sur ce marché. Filip Petrovic, délégué commercial à l’Ambassade du Canada, a ouvert le webinaire et a souligné l’importance du développement des énergies renouvelables en Serbie, en particulier dans les secteurs de l’#éolien et du #solaire, ainsi que dans les systèmes de stockage d’énergie par batteries. 💡 Danijela Isailovic, directrice générale de OIE Srbija, a mis en avant l’importance de l’amélioration du cadre réglementaire et de la création d’un environnement commercial favorable pour encourager le développement de l’#énergieverte dans le pays. Elle a également souligné que les membres de cette association produisent déjà plus de 90 % de l’énergie verte en Serbie. 🌍 Marijan Rančić, directeur du développement commercial chez New Energy Solutions, a présenté les principaux projets dans les secteurs de l’éolien et du solaire, qui atteindront une capacité totale de 12 GW. Il a également insisté sur l’importance de l’intégration des systèmes de stockage d’énergie par batteries (#BESS) pour renforcer la stabilité et l’efficacité du réseau électrique. 🔋 Ce webinaire représente une nouvelle étape dans le renforcement de la coopération entre le #Canada et la #Serbie dans le domaine des énergies renouvelables, ouvrant ainsi de nouvelles opportunités de partenariat et promouvant le développement durable. 🇨🇦🤝🇷🇸

🇨🇦 We organised a webinar alongside our partners OIE Srbija and New Energy Solutions dedicated to the potential of renewable energy sources in #Serbia, aiming to present growing opportunities in this market to Canadian investors. Filip Petrovic, Trade Commissionner at the Embassy of Canada, opened the webinar and spoke about the importance of developing renewable energy sources in Serbia, particularly in the areas of #wind and #solar energy, as well as #battery energy storage systems.💡 Danijela Isailovic, general manager of the OIE Srbija, emphasized the importance of improving the regulatory framework and creating a favorable business environment for further development of #GreenEnergy in the country. She also highlighted that members of this association already produce over 90% of green energy in Serbia.🌍 Marijan Rančić, Director of Business Development at New Energy Solutions, presented key projects in the wind and solar energy sector, whose total capacity will reach 12 GW. He also stressed the importance of introducing Battery Energy Storage Systems (#BESS) to make the grid more stable and efficient. 🔋 This webinar represents another step in strengthening cooperation between #Canada and #Serbia in the renewable energy sector, opening new partnership opportunities and promoting sustainable development. 🇨🇦🤝🇷🇸

🌍 Did you know Serbia is making a bold shift towards renewable energy in 2025? 🌍 On this World Energy Day, we're thrilled to share Serbia's ambitious plans for a greener future. Here's a quick look at what's coming: 🌬️ Wind energy use will rise by 17%. 🌞 Solar energy use will increase by 3%. Serbia plans to produce: 1,639 GWh from wind 119 GWh from solar. Renewable energy will make up 29% of Serbia's total domestic primary energy production. Despite these advancements, Serbia will still import 90% of its natural gas and 80% of its crude oil needs, a 25% increase from 2024. 🏭 Thermal power plants will remain the backbone of Serbia's electricity system, generating over 62% of the total electricity. The total installed capacity of wind and solar power plants will be nearly 800 MW. To ensure #energysecurity, #Serbia aims to boost the use of renewable energy sources and improve regulatory conditions for energy efficiency measures. 🔔 Stay tuned!
