The recent devastation from Hurricanes Helene and Milton on our nation’s southeast coastal areas has been a striking example. To assist those most affected by these extreme weather events, Dole is donating fresh bananas, plantains, and pineapples as well as financial contributions through local charities and partners. Dole has donated hundreds of thousands of bananas with Food Lion to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina in North Carolina and Feeding Tampa Bay in Florida. While we know this small gesture won’t resolve the hardships, we hope to at least provide a helping hand during these difficult times.
