Team member spotlight: Guillermo Zavala Vargas Commercial Leader for North America We are excited to welcome Guillermo Zavala Vargas to the Eastman team! Guillermo is a dedicated veterinarian with extensive experience managing multicultural and multidisciplinary teams across the globe. "Throughout my career, I've been challenged to develop markets, create liaison offices, redesign teams, and revitalize motivation to serve our customers better. The moment we, as an organization, understood that we worked for our customers was when the path to success began. I am thrilled to be joining the Eastman Animal Nutrition team to learn, and to contribute my perspective to enhance our customer focus even further", said Guillermo. Guillermo brings 24 years of experience from a top specialty chemical company, with 19 years in the animal nutrition industry, and 6 years in healthcare. He has successfully managed diverse teams, including direct reports, resellers and distributors, in Mexico, the United States and Germany (with impact on LATAM). An effective in vitro model can streamline and enhance the efficiency of new product development and screening processes for our customers. Our application research team is thrilled to share our latest publication in Poultry Science titled, “Screening and selection of eubiotic compounds possessing immunomodulatory and anti-Clostridium perfringens properties”, which details the development of a novel in vitro avian macrophage model to screen active ingredients with immunomodulatory and anti-Clostridium perfringens properties.
