I am happy to share that ICARD 2024 was a tremendous success, with an abundance of positive feedback, particularly concerning the technical program. Many attendees highlighted the wealth of concrete field studies presented, backed by years of data. This depth truly elevates the value of the information exchange.   I want to thank my incredible team of volunteers who worked very hard to make this happen. Today, ICARD 2024 - Halifax - International Conference on Acid Rock Drainage disected challenges, risks, and barriers to innovation in the field, identified priority areas that need innovation, and explored what needs to be done differently.
