We all know accidents happen in the field, and this Leica TS16 & CS20 were no exception. Fortunately, Darren McGuinness, Senior Survey & Safety Technician at GAP Group Limited, took care of the repairs. The damage? Extensive: ❌ TS16 Breakdown: - Index, tilt, and azimuth errors - Smashed keyboard & cracked backframe - Gear checks failed - ATR diode out, EDM out of alignment - Bent foot screw on the tribrach ✅ Repairs & Replacements: - Full extended maintenance & repair - New tribrach, keyboard, and backframe - All seals and gaskets replaced The CS20 also received a full gasket replacement during its extended maintenance.
