This Spooky Season, our Family Support Services team hosted an “Alice in Wonderland” Halloween party! Families put on their most creative costumes, enjoyed face painting to match their favorite characters, captured memories in our photo booth, and attended an enchanting tea party with Alice herself! 🍵✨ A huge thank you to our amazing Family Support Services team for creating this wonderful event to play, connect, and make lasting memories. #DidYouKnow 💡Families staying with us receive wrap-around social-emotional support through our Family Support Services team, which provides one-on-one emotional support to caregivers, siblings, and patients. Our Licensed Medical Social Worker also offers case management services to assist families with resource navigation and care coordination 🏡❤️

Wishlist Wednesday: Share the Halloween Spirit! As Halloween approaches, we’re inviting our amazing community to help make this holiday special for the families at the LA Ronald McDonald House. We believe that every child deserves the chance to dress up, be a kid, and enjoy the magic of trick-or-treating! This week, we’re asking for donations of Halloween candy—especially allergy-friendly options—to ensure every child has a sweet experience. #DidYouKnow The two most common diagnoses among the patients we serve are cardiology and oncology. These conditions represent the largest number of children and families who seek our support. Our programs are designed to provide comfort and care during their toughest journeys. By helping families stay together, we give them the strength to face each challenge. 

What an unforgettable night! Our gala season was a resounding success, bringing together 250 amazing attendees and countless supporters who made a significant impact. Together, we raised nearly $300,000 to support our mission! 🌟 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to this incredible achievement. Celebrating 50 Years of RMHC - For five decades, @RMHC has been a beacon of support for families. Since opening its first House in 1974, our organization has grown to over 1,000 programs worldwide. We at Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House are honored to be part of this incredible legacy, bringing hope and support to our local community. #LegacyofLove ✨ For more than 4 decades, the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House has been a Home-away-from-home for families in need, a true testament to the strength and compassion of our community. 🏡💛 In April 1977, a trailblazing group of 4 people: Dr. Stu Siegel, Julius Ratner, and McDonald's Owner/Operators Clay Paschen and Fred Frederic, came together to form Children's Cancer Services of Southern California and what would become the third Ronald McDonald House. On September 14, 1980, we proudly opened our doors as the first House in the RMHC global system to build it's own facility from the ground up. After 44 years, our mission has evolved to serve more families better, expanding our support in new and innovative ways when families need it most ❤️
