We are a nonprofit, holistic financial wellness organization focused on financial counseling, education, growing partnerships and advocacy. We provide individualized, nonjudgmental support through financial counseling and education — equipping people to reach their goals and achieve financial wellness. Our services include budget and debt counseling, student loan repayment counseling, foreclosure prevention, reverse mortgage counseling, successful homebuying, financial education and consumer protection. Our Vision All people have the opportunity to be financially secure. Our Approach At LSS Financial Counseling, we equip people to take control of their finances with tangible steps and personal guidance that are the key to confidence and success. Our goal is to provide helpful, nonjudgmental support to assist you on your journey to financial wellness. We are continually improving the services we provide to meet the needs of the people we serve. Trustworthy & Effective With support from LSS Financial Counseling, between $16-20 million is repaid to local and national creditors annually. We are a nonprofit organization. This means our employees do not work on commission and we don’t try to “sell” you anything. We are here to support you on your journey to financial security. We are proud of our associations, including accreditations with the National Foundation for Credit Counseling, Better Business Bureau and Council on Accreditation. We are a service of Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota.
